just need some cause i’m gonna make a map!
- make sure to use the types of blocks you want to use consistently so it doesn’t look like a mess
- take criticism as improvement for the map
- make sure to have a good building style
- make sure the gameplay is not entirely cancerous and make sure it is doable by a large portion of the people who try it out
and most importantly
- don’t get demotivated
Off topic harru but you should send that map you made that has roblox terrain
I have a few tips that I wanna briefly explain but that would take me an eternity so I am gonna do it in small paragraphs.
Use 1 studs for walls, 4 studs for floors that have a texture on them, 0.25, 0.05 or 0.5 for other details.
Use 45 degree angle for rotation, 5 angle or even 0 angle for rotating stuff like boxes, shelves, etc.
Make sure you know what you are doing for the theme you aim for.
I suggest only using 0.05 if you need extreme precision. Otherwise, stick to 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 for details.
Only using 45 degrees can make it seem repetitive. I try to use 15, since it still adds up to 90 degrees, so that each box or little detail can be different from each other.
